Kurt Sharp is a versatile set designer who makes his home in Chicago. His resume encompasses designing sets for everything from small storefront theatres to feature motion pictures; from revivals of classics to new works, from Shakespeare to musicals.

Kurt has designed over forty productions of popular plays and classic musicals for Drury Lane Oakbrook including: The Mousetrap, Arsenic and Old Lace, The Foreigner, The Music Man, Camelot, Fiddler on the Roof, Kiss Me Kate, South Pacific, Anything Goes, West Side Story, Shenandoah, Carousel and Brigadoon.

His other Chicago area artistic endeavors include serving as set designer for the feature film My Best Friend's Wedding, co-designing the Jeff Award nominated classic drama Awake and Sing for Steppenwolf Theatre Company with Michael Merrit.    bio continued ->
