Kurt has collaborated on world premiere original works for Skylight Opera Theatre, Great Lakes Theater Festival, Victory Gardens Theater, Pegasus Players Theater, Center Theater Ensemble and The New Tuners.

When not designing, he enjoys a parallel but related career as a scenic artist, crafting and painting scenery for exhibits, museums, theater, television and film.
